Does anyone have a list of the popular patches for the diablo kernel? And for that matter, where can one get the latest source?
My situation is as follows: a few months ago I decided the easiest approach for me was to compile up a custom kernel (48 Mhz SDHC, screen rotation, no USB whitelist, a couple of custom options, and a bunch of modules), and flash it (and my own initfs) to my n800.
So far so good. But I don't really have time to follow these forums often, and I keep running across mentions of other patches that might be of interest. Has anyone collected these on a wiki page somewhere? I didn't find one.
And then there is the issue of the latest OS update. It has a new kernel (2.6.21-200829maemo1), but I can't find the source for this new kernel, nor even a change log. Does it have any important fixes? Are the sources for it available somewhere? They don't appear to be in the maemo repository (it still has only the 2.6.21-200823maemo6 sources).
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Lon
