Try the following:

Donwload package individually from the garage page:

https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=200

You will need:

clucene-core_0.9.16a-2_armel.deb
sword_1.5.10-3_armel.deb
python-sword_1.5.10-1_armel.deb
rapier_1.0.4-0_all.deb

Install each of them in the above order with dpkg:

dpkg -i /path/to/the/package/to/be/installed.deb

Dont worry about the "much of it is beyond my understanding" feeling, it's absolutely normal, and actually, it keeps growing as you learn.

The more you learn Linux ( I guess any other operating system too), the more you realize there are topics to study you were not previously aware of. But at the end of the day, your are improving your skills anyway :-)
