I got the nokia 770 the day before it came out! I loved it!

I was going to invest some time coding for it too which is hard because I do film production for a living. I was going to sell it because of some deal breakers:

Lack of bluetooth headset support - How can i enjoy listening music when im tethed to a huge device I don't want to drop? Even worse - it has a bluetooth radio inside of it.

VOIP took too long - and some ways it still isn't here

NO Pim or integration with existing data structures except via the web (which is powerful)

Poor or no microphone usage!

Oh i could go on.. the power is there in this device - it's up to the developers to bring it out.

I've decided to keep it and invest some time into the device. It's finding a better home using it for what it was intended for. A home internet tablet. I've been using it to control functions around the house. x-10, winamp, etc. I also will now use it to keep up on RSS feeds now that the RSS program has been updated.

I guess it'll never be a PIM or the ultiamte travel device. (i just need the web and internet and voip when I travel - a laptop is overkill)

Let's see with what comes up! I still love this device! I am going to spend some time to make an app or two and see what happens.
