You copy over the binary using adb (to the android filesystem), and can run it using the built in shell (using adb) or a java written console.

But ultimately you're right, we can't compare the two platforms. Yet. I have a feeling that they will compete more than you think. My question was: Would you buy an Android phone or the "N900"? I LOVE the tablets, use mine every day (nearly), but I think I would grab Android...
