Hi,
Right now, I am dual-booting my n800 from a flash card. The swap is a file in the first partition of the same card, and is of 128mb.
As far as I understand, if I use a swap partition instead of a swap file, the speed of the swap memory should increase.
I am currently upgrading from chinook to diablo (from one 16gb flash to another), so I formatted my destination card as follows:
mmcblk1p1: 13500mb, fat32
mmcblk1p2: 2000mb, ext2 (system)
mmcblk1p3: 500mb, linux swap
Now, my question is how to make the system use this swap partition as default instead of the swap file. The "swapon -a" command didn't help me much (according to "free").
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
