I think most of the people who aren't fans of integrated HSPA aren't against it because it will make the tablet more popular. The arguments against HSPA go like this:
1) I will be paying a lot more for functionality I won't use.
2) It won't work on the carrier of my choice.
3) It will lead to restrictions in what we can do with the tablet.

If you don't understand why people don't want HSPA, don't just assume their reason is stupid and try to tell them they're wrong.
