I saw it too. This is a lot better than even my wildest expectations. The forums are still completely down BTW. Now before we get over ourselves, compared to DS sales or the iPhone (<spit!>) hype, the numbers are rather low. Still, I keep wondering if this will not one day be seen as the starting point of a totally new way of manufacture and distribution: "Three guys in a garage" design, troubleshoot, produce and distribute a totally new computer with -- relatively -- no money behind them, but rather the active support and contribution of a community of enthousiasts. Could this be the start of OSM (Open Source Manufacturing)?
