I understand the concept of "suspension of disbelief". A good fantasy should not remind you that you are doing so. I don't believe Iron Man did nearly as good a job at this as other comic book adaptations. I kept finding myself shaking my head. Strange as it may sound, I thought Hell Boy did a better job of it.

Yes, I am also familiar with Clarke's famous quote. I was saying that Clarke's Third Law doesn't work the other way around. Not all magic is indistinguishable from sufficiently advanced technology.
