Your statement made me think for awhile. I think it is the media form factor rather than copyright. For example we have excellent selections on VCURLs72, which is 99 % US channels except maybe a couple of French. And the streaming quality, albeit, not 100 % good, but still 2/3 of them are quite watchable, (ComedyCentral did not bother to return my email . Of course there is also a factor of convenience, that the ones work in WorldTV99, I kept it there. When it is not I switched to VCURLs72. Your idea is interesting though.

And it is interesting, I watch CBC for my USA news. BTW, I spent 4 yrs in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
