Thanks Guys.....that was the EXACT problem....

That file was left by VPNC to redirect the DNS to the connection at my work. I deleted the entries using VI and put in the 127.0.0.1, and it fired right off....great support in these forums..!!

I still am going to try to edit the vpnc-script file to create the resolv.conf-backup to a place on the N810's internal memory, instead of ram....right...? That way I dont have to do that again, but if I do, I used your command under my CPU menu to delete and recreate that file on the fly....
