Febb, what is the common subnet for all the locations you have tried to ping from? 189.0.0.0, 189.135.0.0 or 189.135.104.0
I have tried pinging from several, randomly selected, different IPs in these ranges:

189.128.8.0 to 189.255.255.255
200.23.0.0 to 200.23.255.255
200.56.0.0 200.57.255.255

Results are all the same in each case:
DNS resolves www.gnuite.com as 64.72.119.253
and can ping successfully :
64.72.119. xxx
xxx being randomly selected as a matter of testing, one of :
001,150,189,200,248,249,250,251,252

But does not work with xxx = 253 (also not with xxx=254). Some other xxx values also do not work, but of course, that is NO indication of anything except it could be a firewalled address or just plain and simple a vacant IP address.

The fact is that I can reach that addresses segment from all of the above indicated ranges. Nevertheless, there is no response from the 253 server (gnuite.com).

Again, hope this is useful, and also again, thanks for your time and assistance in solving this "mistery"
