There's one thing I don't understand with the bug-fixing method. I looked at one of them and saw this:

tinymail should not use g_atexit

Then, near the end, it was apparently fixed:

"this bug has been fixed in Maemo 4.1.1"

If it's fixed, why put the fixed version only into an upcoming version of the full distro? Why not immediately put an updated .deb into the repository, as is normally done elsewhere? Or am I mistaken, and 4.1.1 is already out and the bug report merely pointed out that the bug was an old, fixed one?
