Why is it always a hardware problem which requires warranty? There must be
many
people who have a hardware problem with the GPS chip. Even new devices. Has anyone ever experienced the GPS working well for a while, and then suddenly not anymore? If you send it you're wasting time and money on something which might not even be broken. Face it, the thing sucks, it isn't worth it to tinker about. Just use a good external GPS device instead.
