mandrake64: If you just rebooted (shut right off, then turned on again), I don't understand why you would be getting these errors:

insmod: cannot insert '/lib/modules/2.6.21-omap1/dm-loop.ko': File exists (-1): File exists
device-mapper: create ioctl failed: Device or resource busy

Are you running something else that uses the dmsetup or dmlosetup commands, or uses the loop0 device?

This is a very puzzling error.
