How we use PIM applications is a matter of personal style and process. For me, PIM is my constant companion and assistant which is where the N810 fits in. I also have a Linux desktop and Linux laptop so some degree of synchronization is important to me. I like the GPE PIM applications in part because they also run on under on my other boxes. I had settled on the Google calendar as my main calendar before purchasing the N810. Having erminig on the N810 to sync the Google calendar with the GPE calendar works very well. For PIM data the N810 is now my primary entry device and I need PIM data even if the Internet isn't available. I use GPE Contacts, Calendar, ToDo and Timesheet. It's convienient that the Catagories are common amongst all applications. One thin missing is encryped notes. For that I've chosen notecase which also runs on both platforms. AS a freelance that works alot in Starbucks the N810's email, browser and Skype come in quite handy. Boingo has a $7.95/mo WiFi plan for which includes the N810. Theer are things I'd like to change or improve but I have a workabke set PIM and communication tools that will play nice with my Linux boxes.
