Is the character coding used in your PDF compatible with MHeiGB18030C-Medium, ie. GB family coding? If not, it won't display properly. If the character coding is UTF-8, you got to install additional Chinese UTF-8 fonts (like the Microsoft Yahei mentioned above).

If you are using windows PC, copy the Chinese fonts from \windows\fonts to ~/.fonts directory on your tablet. Then reboot it.
