My touchscreen behaves quite strangely for the last few days. Either immediately after I turn my N800 on or after a short period of time it kind of loses calibration (like I try to hit some button on the left part of the screen and get a response from the application in the middle) and in a minute or two after that the screen stops responding at all. The OS works perfectly and I could use keys to navigate, but whenever I try to recalibrate the touchscreen I am able to hit the first target only. No matter where I touch the screen next it just says "try closer".

Funny thing is that if I turn the tablet off the functionality of the touchscreen is sometimes restored - but again, only for a short period of time.

Any ideas on what could I do?..

Updated: now as I have installed USBMouse it is fun to watch the on-screen cursor following my messed-up touchscreen. They join in the upper-left corner, then as I follow right with my stylus cursor starts to move slower and as I reach the upper-right corner with stylus it still remains approx. 2/3 of the way. The area where the cursor could reach is roughly the prism touching the upper-left corner and the further to the right side I touch the screen the greater is the distance between the stylus and the cursor. What kind of weird miscalibration could it be?.. Oh, yes, and of course I cannot recalibrate it as the tablet feels like cursor is in one place and the pressure is in another ))
