Well is it their product, Map, that is brocken? If it's using sockets then Map shouldn't even be aware its talking thru Bluetooth DUN to the internet rather than thru Wifi - one would have thought!

Is it the DUN support in Maemo that is at fault? if so then it's a Nokia job to fix it. But maybe only Map thru some DUN provokes it.

Is it some weird interaction between my network (O2 GPRS) and Maemo and/or Map? O2 of course 'don't support' anything beyond my phone browsing WAP. Wayfinder don't support O2 network as such. Nokia sort of support Map as it is built in with N810.

A systems integration conundrum.

Perhaps if I got them all in a small room and locked the door till they fixed it?

There is something to be said for an iPhone and its navigation support bought thru UK supplier (o2) - in such a situation u can shout loud and justifiably to one company and get it fixed - or get your money back!

As for a refund, well it mostly works. Traffic updates on the move were the icing on the cake. Not essential feature but a nice one for €99 compared to TomTom IMHO (bearing in mind I had N810 already and was a novice/will be a light user of Satnav). So a rebate of a percentage of €99?

I did try and get people to say if they had got updates working across DUN weeks back, but only rwijnhov replied.

So, anyone have working / brocken Map traffic updates over Bluetooth DUN to phone network (3G or GPRS)?
