Create a small FAT partition and a linux partition. Note when you make a new partition it will default to Linux partition, highlight the partition, select type and change to FAT (06).

As root,
cfdisk /dev/mmcblk0

Fatal ERROR: Bad primary partition 0: Partition end
Press any key to exit cfdisk
