I don't use mine at all anymore, tethering in Canada is like winning the reverse lottery (you pay them $10,000 a month) and I drank the kool-aid and got an iPhone which does the trick for me.
Yeah, it's cost free for all intents and purposes(tied into the monthly cell data plan cost & undetectable via regedit).
I personally love the slick look and smoothness of the iphone, if i wasn't with Sprint, i would likely pick one up, as the ipod touch isnt suitable for me as a second device(small screen).. and none of their current phones have screens large enough to fit my "all-in-one" tastes either :-(
