To improve browsing I use a modified Hosts file (search the site for more details) and this cuts out the majority of ads from the webpages.

I also have too bookmarks define which switch too and from 'iPhone' mode which tells sites such as google that you want Apple's version of the 'Full Internet', and I have a greasemonkey add-in which resizes the google pages to the wider screen size.

I must admit, that I'm looking forward to a bigger screened device sometime in 2009, running a more standard implementation of Linux or XP... But my N800 is much easier to carry around.
