I like your solution better, seems a little easier for a linux noob. Just to clarify:
-I get online and go to the https Manheim site.
-I enter my username and password
-The squashfs solution takes over and serves the known pages (year/make/model) which do not change
-My dropdown lists should load faster because squashfs has the files locally
-Squashfs will not have the pricing info saved so it will parse the Manheim server to get me the data via my internet connection
Sound reasonable? My N810 will be arriving Tues or Weds...woohoo!
