Yeah you are correct. I uninstalled beta10 and tried installing beta9 again with no luck. BUT...........

I'm too being having the issues with the missing packages when I tried to upgrade form maemo1 to maemo3. I've tried eveything to get them installed with no luck and have given up for now.
One of the Canola2 devs suggested (in a thread on this very forum) to try updating/flashing the firmware. Well I tried it and it worked! I was able to install beta9 no error messages or anything.
