Well, as pointed out, those instructions aren't updated for the latest SSU anyway; you'll need to change the versions in the filenames.
Since you have to refigure filenames anyway, you can just go to
http://outpo.st/rotate
in the web browser and download the packages that way, find a curl and use the wiki instructions (with the new versions), or find a wget and use the instructions on outpo.st.
I'll try to update the wiki within a few hours, either with instructions on where to get maemo-mini-curl (I've never heard of it!) and new versions, or with how to get wget, new versions, and syntax changed to wget.
Anyone who's seen maemo-mini-curl and/or has a reason I shouldn't change it to wget, please post. (Or fix the wiki yourself, I don't mind.
)
BTW, there's at least two sources of rotation fixes for new SSUs; while outpo.st seems to be a bit quicker in responding, the slide-rotate app is probably easier. You might look into that, although I don't think it's updated yet. (The maintainer said he couldn't get to it till after the holidays, at least.)
