Single SD card reader found!!!

With a post from Lord Raiden (thanks again) I can confirn that there is a single card reader that will work without external power for the N810. It is aparently available only from K-Mart and that is where I purchased mine tonight (got the last one on display). It is the Targus TGR-SD20 and costs $8.99 + tax. Expensive for an SD reader but it works. I tried a 16gb SDHC Sandisk Extreme II. On plugging in, it opened File Manager as expected. No problem showing a video. I have not tried writing to the card but I'm pretty sure it will be fine. I used this reader with the DigiKey OTG microUSB to FEM USB adapter. So it was fully Plug and Play and makes a neat, portable 'package'.

OTG adapter ($8.87 + S/H):

I see no external LED on the reader so perhaps power draw is just a bit lower than all the other ones I have unsucsessfully tried.

BTW, it comes with an 18" male to femal USB cable which you might need in some cases as this reader is quite wide (about 36mm) and may not fit into some recessed USB ports.

Note that Targus have apparently got the same part number on another card reader so make sure you are buying the correct reader. See details on Lord Raidens second post in this thread:

If anyone has any questions on this reader feel free to ask.
