Hi,
Before I start wasting my time again, I am asking the community for help. About a month ago, I created a second boot from a mmc card, with a ext2 partition, and I personalized my system. Then, something weird happened:
once, when I tried to boot my device from the memory card, at about 2/3 of the progress bar, the LED started flashing, and before the system loaded, my n800 rebooted. This happened every consecutive time I tried to boot from that card.
I tried duplicating that system to another card - no improvement.
Afterwards, I gave up and reinstalled the system, that time to an ext3 partition. Today, I finally finished personalizing it, and the same thing happened: it starts booting from the memory card, then at 2/3 of the blue bar, the LED starts flashing, and the system reboots.
I ran fsck ; no improvement. I can access all the files on the card if I mount it, so I won't loose any personal data.
Is there a way to make this system bootable again, and what could be the possible causes of this crash?
Thank you for your help
Ilia
