I have the exact same problem as OP, but I dont understand the solution...?

I have tried to paste the above line into X Terminal, but it just says:
Failed to write to cache file: Permission denied

Can someone please explain what I have to do?

EDIT: Read about root access in the wiki, http://wiki.maemo.org/Root_access - and got the problem sorted out.
