Does anybody have just a set of clear instructions and packages for a2dp with Diablo that I could try to implement on my N800?

What about DSP SBC? Should I try that?

I don't know really, I've never got round to testing the power consumption using DSP vs ARM. The deb I posted a link to at the end of the thread I listed above has the new improved SBC encoder built in (using the ARM). Give that a go first of all.
