Well, I discovered what whas wrong with the xterm cp command. Managed to copy skypehost to /usr/bin.
Still get the error message and have the other doubts mentioned in my firs post.

PS: I hope that the chowner command issued before may be repeated after doing the right cp of skyhost to /usr/bin
