Hi;
PRK, AFAIK, there is no draconian thing happening. Just a technical glitch. I can use the phone as a modem as much as I want, there are no data charges, only minutes used. So, if it is after 7:00pm or on weekends, the service is "free" in the sense that there are no additional charges.
