You're saying that Maemo Mapper's bluetooth scanning is not working? Strange, but as long as you have the MAC address, you don't need it.

Also, using both the bluetooth plugin and Maemo Mapper (with a MAC address) may not work correctly. If you are using the bluetooth plugin, you should enter "/dev/rfcomm0" (or whatever the port is for your bluetooth receiver - rfcomm0, rfcomm1, etc.) as the MAC address.

Turn off which bluetooth? The Nokia 770's or the receiver's? If it's the latter, then it may take a minute for Maemo Mapper to recognize the bluetooth drop and subsequently try to re-connect.

If you continue to have issues, using the bluetooth plugin and specifying the MAC address as "/dev/rfcomm0" may work better for you.

Although it may not solve your problem, in case you still want to set up the bluetooth reset to work, just add the following line to the /etc/sudoers file (you need root access):

Code:
user ALL = NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/hciconfig hci0 reset
