No, perhaps you're thinking of Softlanding or Yggdrasil?

And you're not running Debian, either, you're running Maemo, which was forked from Debian, and in the interest of stability, has had some libraries, etc. held back versions, so you can't just install Debian packages (lenny is at 3.0.6-1). And a careful inspection of the browser would make it clear that it's not straightup Firefox (whereas Iceweasel is), but has modifications to make it work well with touch-only and limited screen space, so even switching to a Debian Firefox/Iceweasel build wouldn't necessarily be what you want. Still, you can try Qole's Easy Chroot stuff to run Debian apps, including IceWeasel, if you want to.
