You may need repositories. See http://www.gronmayer.com/it/index.php

See also "catalogues" in the Tools menu of the Applications Manager. Each catalogue in your Applications manager corresponds to a "repository" on the internet.

Once you have the right catalogues, you can find and install libs that you need from Installable Applications in the Applications Manager.
