I was able to successfully install the ubuntu-mid package today. But upon login to hildon (using the command "hildon-desktop"), the screen only shows the ubuntu brown background with a black box in the upper right hand corner (and the mouse cursor). I know this is probably a reach...but does anyone have any ideas on what's going on here?

The GDM and xfce work fine on the same install.

Edit: I'd settle for an idea on how to trouble shoot whats going wrong.
