Anyway, back on subject I think what the video shows is valid. I have used both as well and I am much happier with what the n800 can do. At first i missed the UI of the ipod, but soon that disappeared because it forced me to actually use my device rather than spend all my time playing with how cool the ui was.

As far as better selection of apps, that depends on your viewpoint. Yes the ipod does have very useful apps such as a farting app, a dice app, even an app that makes it so you can manipulate a woman's breasts on a photo by shaking your ipod. If this community was more mature then maybe it could make some of these apps, but they seem to spend all their time on immature beta software that does stuff like browse the internet faster (tear anyone?) and then they give away for free. Someday nokia and this community will catch up.
There are far more apps than the few you chose to point out 15,000+ both paid and free. To each their own. I have both devices and prefer the iPhone is all. It is a much nicer and cleaner UI IMHO, and the capacitive screen is easier to use with finger than N800 is. Considering how short a time the store has been live compared to the Nokia community, it seems to be moving much faster.
