What do you mean "mer or on x86"? Mer is available for both...

but anyway, i tested it in jaunty on arm. And it was not really impressive.
I consider even ubuntu jaunty with other window managers Mer still even though they use mainly the ubuntu repos since they require some packages (ie: drivers) from mer.(at least the way I set it up anyway).

I realize Mer is availalbe for x86 and ARM, so I think I mean to write "Mer on ARM or on x86". Sorry, about the confusing wording. I was a bit tired when I wrote it.

I've heard a lot of people complain about it not being that good. Like you, I just like to test out the different software that is available.
