Hmm I find it easier to use JoikuSpot on S60 + iPod touch or laptop or NIT than imagining to use the NIT as WiFi AP for the iPod touch or laptop while using BlueTooth DUN with the S60 + NIT. OTOH, JoikuSpot eats battery life on the S60. But so does BlueTooth DUN. With JoikuSpot you have one less potential point of failure though. I think I use BlueTooth DUN when possible, and else enable JoikuSpot (full license costs 15 EUR or sth).
So it is.
* S60
* S60 + NIT (BlueTooth DUN, JoikuSpot)
* S60 + laptop (JoikuSpot)
* S60 + iPod touch or PSP or... (JoikuSpot)
I'm sure laptop can also use BlueTooth DUN but in Ubuntu I haven't figured out how to do that with NetworkManager yet, and it doesn't matter much anyway because I won't use it much.
Ironially, the iPod touch 2nd gen
do
have BlueTooth....
