You know how when you type a bar pops up along the bottom and takes up a good 10% of your screen just to show in the right hand corner whether you are typing Abc, abc or Fn? I'd really like to keep that screen space when I'm typing. (Ok, I know the bar also does typing hints, but I think I can live with out that).

Really it would be ideal if it only took the corner (didn't resize the app), was semi-transparent, and only showed if my status was not normal 'abc'. That seems a little picky though so I'd be happy if I could just get rid of the bar. If I can't get rid of it, what about resizing it? Maybe down to a size 10 font?
