The above thread actually reminded me that I had a NOKIA 6170B in for service. I had called and was dealing with NOKIA Executive Repair Escalation Team, and was supposed to get a call Monday or Tuesday and as always NO CALL. I have been dealing with since they received my phone on 10-23-2006. (That's October No Error). They sent phone to wrong repair depot via the Website (Common Issue). So they then shipped my phone from Florida to Alabama. It arrived (rather was marked received) on 11-7. It then sat because they lost all the paperwork and did not know ho or what was wrong with the phone. After I saw ONLINE that it had sat there, I called was informed of this and told them my info. Then I kick back, all is well right? WRONG!. Then you see, the new AWAITING PARTS since 11-7 starts. Lets introduce the Online Report shall we?
So I'm gonna shorten this up. Multiple calls to different depts. Multiple EMAILS. Multiple Promises. Finally I see that after almost TWO MONTHS, they have shipped the phone back to me on 12-13-2006. But wait, one more arrow in the wound. I have been waiting TWO MONTHS. Look how they sent it back to me. US Postal Service. Here we have Executive Repair Escalation involved, and they rush my repaired phone back to me by the US Mail. BTW, as of 12-15, the Online Mail Tracking says it has received the information that this is heading their way electronically (Means the label has been created), but cannot even confirm it is actually en route. It could be sitting at NOKIA still. It has not been scanned received. (In all fairness US Postal Track and Confirm is another Joke as well)

In closing, this has been an absolute travesty, and more important an indication of how NOKIA Service has gone the wayside. From what I am seeing and reading here and other Forums, its not the exception, it is the norm.
