What assumption? A single library can cause battery drain, the more libraries you have ,the greater the chance that one of them is bad. The fact that this happens with just 6 packages installed is pretty messed up, especially since I have had the battery drain problem before, at a time when none of these packages were installed(except for easyroot?).

Besides, ARM announced the Cortex A9 months and months ago. The new announcement was for TI's SoC implementation of it, the OMAP4.
Yes, but my point is, is OMAP3 a big enough upgrade to warrant buying new hardware or should you just skip it and wait for the real meat and potatoes?
