Finally I get it

Before running BlueMaemo: After Running BlueMaemo

Bluetooth on, visibility on: same status
Bluetooth on, visibility off: same status
Bluetooth off, visiblity on: same status
Bluetooth off, visiblity off: --- ,visibility on

There is a bug here, but I don't see any big problem since you have your HW adapter off, since you are so upset I thought you are talking about the adapter stay visible to other (it is only possible if the adapter in on).
