in the release notes ( http://repository.maemo.org/stable/4...otes_4.1.2.txt ) there is the hint, that due to qemu-related problems it is not recommended to run applications in the armel target. You should that only use for the cross compiling and building packages. there is a bug filed as well where you can find more information about that ( https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2171#c2 ).

So please use the X86 for that. But you said you had problems with it as well?
