mhm... i always thought 3gp and 3g2 were basically the same... and the N800 plays 3gp out of the box with the built in media player. could it be that simply changing the extension will do the trick? the funny thing is that i found sites that claim to offer "3gp and 3g2 files" for download, but you never see anything other than 3gp there.
