hi bdraws,
No...it doesn't clear up the mess after reboot. All Debian related applications I started still contain with the same messages.
I have tried all I could with my very limited understanding from this site.
I guess, for the moment, I have to live with the basic interface and functions on this N810
and hopefully I'll find someone to "hack" it for me.
I continuously tried with different sequences/order in downloading the applications and keep on reinstalling the OS2008 updates. Unfortunately all these just didn't work.
I don't know what else I could do anymore.
