What really expands the use of DateBk is it's integration with the contacts (in addition to it's Ronco-sized listed of features). Templates and updates to the contact's information fields (when was the last appointment...) is something I use quite regularly.

Pimlical looks hopeful -- but waiting on a Linux implementation. With my luck, it'll want java ...
