You don't believe Omap2420 can handle video formats better than 1710? At least it has 2d/3d graphics accelerator and imaging video accelator and higher clock speed. http://focus.ti.com/general/docs/wtb...contentId=4671

Maybe they have some driver problems that doesn't allow N800 to take everything out of 2420 (dunno haven't seen N800 in action ) but I'm sure it's better than 770 in that area.
