  1. Open the application menu.
  2. Tap "Settings".
  3. In the Settings sub-menu that opens, tap "Control panel".
  4. In he Control Panel application that opens, double-tap "Text input settings".
  5. In the "Text input" window that opens, tap the "On-screen" tab.
  6. In the On-screen tab, make sure:
    • "Enable stylus input methods" is checked
    • "Launch finger keyboard" is set to "With finger"
  7. Tap the "OK" button.
  8. Close the Control Panel.
  9. Retry my previous instructions.
