You can use any text editor, I use leafpad. The default file will have some examples in it. Just copy one of the example and replace the map location with your maps location and name. If you have a gps running, it should find your position on the map after a minute or whenever your gps gets a lock. Otherwise, you need to replace the default location lat and long numbers with number that will show up on your map.
