I've stumbled on what may be a volume bug.The volume level is quite low even after maximizing the Canola volume slider and the Maemo volume.

But the volume level is restored to normal levels if while Canola is playing I go to the Nokia Media Player and click on the sound slider there. Even if the volume is maximized there already clicking on it boosts Canola's volume level.

Is there something I can do to avoid this process to get usable volume levels?

I'm pretty sure I've experienced this issue with and without head phones.
