I have to agree, modest is an excellent email client. pop3 and imap are both easy to setup and use and offline use works seamlessly. It it also very well integrated into the OS so new mail notification is simple. I use thunderbkrd on the desktop but wouldn't use it my my n810 even if it were available (which it may be)
